Tracy McLean, DVM
Dr. McLean, Veterinarian, graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. Prior to veterinary school she enjoyed attending Hiram College for her undergraduate degree and The Wesleyan University for a Masters degree. She has always wanted to be a veterinarian and has worked in veterinary clinics from the age of 14. She lives with her husband, Doug, and their sons, Pierce, and Jensen. They also happily share their house with a Doberman Pinscher named Sirius, a Labradoodle named Kona and a Maine Coon named Rembrandt, plus a tank of salt water fish. She enjoys spending time with her family in any way, but especially hiking and biking in the area parks.
Dennis Boelter, DVM
Dr. Boelter, Veterinarian, graduated from Michigan State Veterinary School in 1969. After graduation he did a 1 – year internship at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital, and has been in small animal practice since. He has been married to his wife, Candace, for 39 years. They have one son, Brent, who is an Akron firefighter/paramedic, and has worked here at the clinic over the years. Dr. Boelter officially retired 3 years ago, but enjoys his patients so much that he still works 2 days per week.
Teri has loved animals all her life and finally found the perfect career when she began working as the receptionist at the Akron Animal Clinic 4 years ago. She and her husband, Russ, live with their Weimaraner, Maggie, in West Akron.
Kathie was born and raised in Florida and just recently moved to the Akron area. She lives in a large family with her husband and four kids ages 12 thru 21, Her extended fur family includes two pit bulls, a basset hound mix, a chihuahua, two cats and an amazon parrot. For fun she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, four wheeling, horseback riding and water sports. She enjoys motorcycle riding with her husband. She has been working in the Veterinary field for the past seventeen years which includes the past eight years in an emergency clinic. She absolutely enjoys the difference she can make for clients and their beloved pets.
